March Favourites

Hello everyone!

It's been ages since I did a favourites post, I feel like I don't try enough new things to bother most of the time.  However, March was filled with products that I just adored and I really want to share them with all of you!

First up is what I'm calling my magic trio.  It's the Real Techniques Stipple Brush, the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation, and the Covergirl Fresh Complexion Concealer. WOW! I bought the brush a few weeks ago from Winners and was not disappointed (I never am when it comes to Real Techniques!)  The brush gives me a flawless skin look without too much product, and I love that.  I hate having too much foundation on my face.  This also blends it really well!

Applying the Rimmel foundation with this brush has given me a noticeably nicer finish, and I've had dozens of compliments on my makeup since I started using this combination.  The Covergirl concealer is the perfect finish, it covers my dark circles and blemishes really well but there's something more than that.  I looked into the mirror after using it for the first time and could really see a difference, it was a huge "WOW!" moment for me.  My skin just looked absolutely flawless, and I know I won't be changing my foundation routine for a very long time!

Another product I've been loving has been a bit of a rediscovery for me.  I have had an eyelash curler for ages, I have no idea when or why I bought it, but I do know I rarely, if ever, used it.  Recently, I've been actually curling my lashes before putting on mascara and I've noticed a huge difference.  My eyes look brighter and wider, and I will never not curl my lashes again!

This brings me to my next product, which is the Covergirl Professional All-In-One mascara.  This does an amazing job of volumizing and lengthening, and I have used nothing else all month (including my Lancome Hypnose!)  One warning, I don't use the waterproof formula and this can get REALLY smudgy.  Normally this isn't a problem for me, but if you have a problem with regular mascara transferring or smudging, I suggest you try the waterproof formula.

As you can see, I have used quite a bit of this in March!
Another new discovery this month is the I Love... products.  I have the Raspberry & Blackberry body lotion and shower gel, I got them for Christmas.  Originally, I smelled them and was convinced I would never use them.  When I used up my last bottle of body lotion, I looked at my stash to see what I had and gave this one a sniff.  I instantly fell in love.  It's obviously a very sweet scent, but I find it doesn't small fake.  I believe my original comment when I starting using it was, "I smell like pie!"  The lotion is very moisturizing and not greasy at all, and the shower gel has a scent that actually lingers even after you've washed it off and it gives an amazing lather.  I am highly impressed!  I think these can be bought at Shopper's Drugmart, so I need to go find out before I run out!

I do want to give a quick shoutout to my Joe Fresh Sheer Lip Tint in the shade Berry.  This was probably my favourite product from my March Bought It, Forgot It.  It's just really creamy with great pigmentation.  I can't believe I neglected it so much! I won't say too much here as there will be more information in that post, which is being published on the 1st of April.

This final item isn't even close to a beauty product, but I like including a food favourite so I thought I'd mention it anyway.  I have really been loving the Bolthouse Smoothies lately.  My friends all enjoy them too.  They're really good for you, and you can buy them to focus on boosting protein intake, fiber intake, vitamin C intake, you name it!  They're so delicious, and although they can be expensive, I just keep an eye out for when they go on sale (2 for $6 is the best deal I've gotten).  Try them, you won't be disappointed!

That's all for my March favourites, go try them out, you won't be disappointed!

Have a great day everyone,
xoxo Laura

March B.I.F.I. Products Review & New Products for April!

Hello everyone! Happy Spring!

I have been thoroughly impressed with the products I chose this month, and am going to just hop right into my reviews!

1) Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Pomegranate Punk

I spent every second I used this kicking myself for neglecting it!  The formulation is fantastic, it's super creamy and doesn't budge once it's on the lid.  The colour is amazing, and goes really nicely with my eye colour (which fluctuates between hazel and dark brown depending on the day), and it blends so well.  I also really like the packaging, especially for what you pay.  There's something about glass packaging that makes a product feel expensive even when it's not!  The only negative thing I have to say about this is that I'm fairly sure it either died my skin or irritated  it a little bit, because I did find at the end of the day the skin on my eyelids was quite red (but not itchy or irritated, so I figure the colour just died it).

2) Joe Fresh Modern Smokey Eye Quad

I wasn't as enamoured with this as I was with the other products, but I still was fairly impressed.  The pigmentation isn't great in these, and I find them a little chalky, but I don't have these colours in my collection and for that reason I found them very useful.  I do suggest if you have these that you use a good eyelid primer (such as the e.l.f. one) so that they don't crease.  For the most part this month I used the matte taupe shade across the lid with the darker colour in the crease.  I also used the dark navy (which is nearly black) to darken the crease with the Colour Tattoo I mentioned above, because it isn't as harsh as black but doesn't look blue when blended (nor does it turn purple, I promise!)

3) GOSH Eyeliner in Golden Moss

I will apologize right now, but I'm almost certain this exact shade isn't available in stores anymore.  But the GOSH eyeliners are all fantastic in texture and pigmentation, very bold and very creamy, so I do highly recommend them!  This colour didn't get a ton of use, but I know I won't neglect it like I did before.  I prefer to use this with either a very nude eyshadow or none at all, and then lined on the top and bottom lashes.  The colour makes it stand out very nicely without needing anything else.  Add big lashes and you've got a great look for every day.  Like I said, the formulation is amazing, so if you're going to splurge on a liner I do suggest this one!

4) Joe Fresh Sheer Lip Crayon in Berry

As I write this post, I am actually wearing this shade.  I adore this, the formulation is incredibly creamy and surprisingly pigmented for something that calls itself sheer.  I love that this settles into a nice stain, so no transferring, but without feathering around your lips.  It's also very easy to control how much colour you want, for the everyday I only use a little but when I want a more dramatic lip I build up the colour.  And this is very true to it's name, it's a gorgeous berry shade (is it weird that it reminds me of raspberries?!)  Another product I highly recommend you purchase!

New Products for April

First up is the much neglected Quo Treasure Box.  I've had this for probably 2 years at this point.  This month, I would really like to use the eyeshadows; some of them are so pretty and I know with Spring on the way I'll be wanting to wear more colour on my lids instead of just constantly wearing neutrals.

Also from Quo is this Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil.  This is a really nice silver colour, very creamy in texture.  I think this will look nice with a black winged liner. Not much else to say about this, I hope it's as nice as it looks swatched!

I seem to have chosen a lot of eye products this month.  The third product I'm going to try to use more in April is this Annabelle smudgeliner.  This is a nice purple, I think it's called Amethyst, and it's a nice smooth, creamy texture.  I love my regular Annabelle liner, I use it all the time, so hopefully this lives up to expectations.

I also would like to use this Rimmel by Kate Moss lipstick in 08.  First off, I want to say it bothers me that they don't have actualy names, just numbers.  But this lipstick is a fantastic pinky-nude colour that will go well with bolder eye looks, and I need to use it more often!  It seems nice and creamy, so we'll have to see what the lasting power is like.

My final product isn't a beauty product, which is why I have five products this month instead of four.  It's the EOS hand lotion in the cucumber scent.  I've had this for awhile and it sits in a tin that I keep my lotion and bits in and never gets used.  I've had incredibly dry hands this month, so I've relocated this to my purse and hopefully I'll remember to use it!  The scent is really nice, so I'm looking forward to using this a little but more and seeing if it's any good.

That's my Bought It, Forgot It for April.  I can't wait to get some more use out of these products!

While you wait for my next post, go like my page on Facebook and know the second it goes up!

HUGE Spring Haul Part 3: Beauty and Cosmetics

Welcome back for Part 3 of my Spring Haul posts! It is finally time to show you all the beauty bits and bobs I have picked up in honour of the new season!

In case you missed it, here are the previous two posts:

Part 1: Clothing

Part 2: Accessories

Makeup

At the Rideau Center in Ottawa I bought two eyeshadows from MAC when I was there on Reading Week.  I picked up Mythology, the pink-toned shade, and Tempting, which is more of a gold shade.  Both are Lustre finishes.  I really like using Mythology all over the lid for day-to-day, but Tempting is great for a bolder, more night-time look.

I also bought the Rimmel Scandal Eyes waterproof liner in 005 nude.  I have had Tanya Burr and Chelsey and about a dozen other makeup people on the internet RAVE about this, and I thought I would give it a go.  I actually used this after a late night and it made me look a lot more alive.  So far I am really liking this, I can't wait to play a little bit more with it!

After I got paid, I went a little bit crazy in the cosmetics aisle.  I bought this Maybelline Fit Me concealer because I've been dying to try it.  I also bought a Covergirl concealer, because I have been searching for the perfect concealer for a long time and everything I found hasn't quite wow-ed me yet. So far I really like both.  The Fit Me concealer is more yellow-toned so I use it after sleepless nights.  The Covergirl concealer so far might be my favourite concealer ever, I really like it.  It covers, conceals and brightens, the perfect combination.

I also bought a new foundation.  This is the Covergirl Clean foundation for normal skin, and I have never tried it. Hopefully it's good, I do find Covergirl products to be a little hit-or-miss but for the price ($7) I thought I would give it a go.  I have used it a couple of times, probably not enough to give a good, in-depth recommendation, but I will warn anyone thinking of buying this that it smells really strange, kind of like pine.

I also bought two new lip colours for Spring.  The first is one of the new Revlon Lacquer Balms in the shade 120 Vivacious.  These are like big crayons but are super smooth and creamy.  I can't wait to start using this one! I love a bold lip, especially in Spring.

The second is another one of my favourite lip sticks, it's from the Maybelline ColourSensationals line.  This one is in the shade 870 Shocking Coral.  I had a lipstick in a similar colour last summer but the formulation was so bad I never wore it.  I know this one will get a lot more use, the formulation of this line is absolutely amazing and the pigmentation is fantastic.

I did buy one new nail polish, another one of the Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear nail colours.  This one is in the shade 481 Breezy Blue, which is a super cute iridescent pastel blue.  I love the colour but I really love the price.  It was only $2 and well worth it.  I think I have a dozen shades from this line now!  This colour takes a few coats to be opaque, but it dries quickly which kind of outweighs that in my eyes.

When I was in Winners, I found a Real Techniques stipple brush for only $9 and obviously I bought it! I've been looking for a new stipple brush, mine is shedding a stupid amount, and to find this one was an exciting moment for me!  I have used this almost every day since I bought it, and will never use another stippling brush for as long as I live! It's freaking amazing!

I hit up a Beauty Supply Outlet for the first time ever as well, and while I wasn't awed I did pick up a couple bits.  I bought this teasing brush for $7, and I'm looking forward to using it.  I bought a teasing comb a few months back, maybe November, and I don't find it does anything.  Zoella over on YouTube has a brush that is extremely similar to this, and she has raved about it, so I thought I would give it a go.  And of course as I'm paying they tell me that their hair treatment masks are on sale for 99 cents, and the cashier raved about them, so I picked up one of those too.  Oops!

May have opened and used one of the masks... oops!
Along the same line, the very last thing I purchased were these 3 Balea masks from Shopper's Drugmart (and might have used one... oops!).  Usually I find Shopper's to be expensive, but these were 3 for $5.  I got two face masks and a hair mask and I will say that there is enough in the face masks for two treatments, so these would be great for a girlie night with your best friend.  I've used these before and I love them, so I thought they would be great for bringing back a little life to my skin and hair after the winter.

Aaaaaand that's it! That's the end of my Spring Haul series! I really hope you enjoyed this, let me know in the comments anything you might like to try out!

Have a great day everyone!

HUGE Spring Haul Part 2: Accessories

Welcome back everyone!  If you missed Part 1 of this Haul series, click the link here!

Time for Part 2 of my Spring Haul, which is all about the accessories I bought! I bought less accessories than I originally thought, so this post will be a little shorter than the other two, but I really hope you still enjoy it!

Accessories

To start off with, I went crazy in Payless and bought three (3!!!) new pairs of shoes.  Oops.

First up are these grey flats with sparkled bows on the toes.  They are American Eagle brand and were only $9.  I love American Eagle flats, and even though flats don't last very long, for $9 I felt like I couldn't go wrong!

The other pair of shoes I got were these navy Ked-like shoes from City Sneaks with white polka dots on them.  I got these to wear with jeans, shorts, and sun dresses.  They were $22 on sale from $25 and I know they'll last a decent amount of time and be really comfortable.

The final pair of shoes I bought were these Black heels.  They are a matte black "leather" with a thick heel and cutouts, and a cute gold buckle.  These were more expensive, they were $40 reduced from $50, but I've had heels from Payless before and not only are they extremely comfortable they also last a really long amount of time.  The brand name is Fioni.  I've worn their shoes before, and I find them to be pretty good quality.  I wore these shoes out the other night and did find that they were very comfortable to walk in.

I made a surprising purchase at Target, this amazing mint bag for $30.  It's a cross body bag, but I'll keep the strap shorter and put it over one shoulder.  It's got tons of space inside, but I really bought it for the colour.  I wear a lot of black, white, and grey, so a pop of colour is usually necessary.  This is going to turn into my favourite bag, I can already tell!

My final accessory purchase is, again, something that is very my style.  Laura and I were vintage hunting and this amazing umbrella was for sale in one of the stores.  It obviously isn't vintage, but it is an amazing umbrella.  It was $25 which is a little pricey, but it's very well-made, and even has leather on the grip.  I've used it, I love it, it was calling my name.  No regrets in purchasing this.

That's the end of my accessories purchases, tune in tomorrow for Part 3: Beauty and Cosmetics.  In the meantime go like my page on Facebook!

HUGE Spring Haul Part 1: Fashion

Hello everyone!

I have bought a ton of stuff in the last few weeks/months for Spring and I can't wait to share them with you!  Originally this post included clothing, accessories, and cosmetics, but I decided to break it into 3 parts and post on consecutive days instead because otherwise it would be just too long!  My wardrobe needed a bit of an overhaul since I haven't bought new Spring clothes in probably about 3 years, so without further ado, let's jump right in!

Fashion

I bought a ton of new clothes, and I'm extremely excited to wear everything out and about.

First up are the things I bought in Ottawa on Reading Week.  I didn't do a ton of shopping since I'm on a student budget, but I did buy a few new bits and pieces.

First up is this LBD from Winners.  I was so on the fence about this, and was going to buy a skirt instead, but at the very last minute put the skirt away and bought this instead.  I am so glad that I did! I wore this when the girls and I went out and it was so comfortable, not too hot, and fit perfectly.  With tights and a pair of sky-high black pumps, it looked nice and classy, but I plan on dressing it down throughout spring and summer with a pair of black low-tops and a flowered headband or belt.

I also bought this fabulous top at the Bluenotes in the Rideau Centre.  Peplum tops really flatter my body and this is the third one I own.  The best part was it was it was under $7!!!  A lot of my wardrobe is black and white, so this wasn't very different, but it looks really nice with jeans and again is something I could dress up or down.
Photo from the store's Facebook page!
When I got home, I did a little bit of shopping with my mom and Aunt and bought 2 beautiful dresses for when the weather starts to get nicer.  I own next to no dresses or skirts, but I think I'm set now!  The owner of the store took these pictures and put them on the store's Facebook page which is cool! What I love about these dresses is the length, they are just right for me because I really don't like my legs and I wouldn't wear tights with these.  Since they hit at the knee, I don't have to feel self conscious! I also really like where the waist hits, it's extremely flattering on me.

Next up is this cardigan my mom bought for me from Joe Fresh.  This is super cute to throw over a tank top in the spring when it's not quite warm enough to have bare shoulders.  It has 3/4 length sleeves, and hits just at the waist of your pants.  I've worn this a few times already and I really like it.

Then last weekend, my mom and brother came down and I went crazy at the mall.  I bought these black and white graphic shorts at Winners for $17.  They're really comfy, super soft, and very flowy.  I have never owned shorts like this and I am in love!

I also bought this pj set at Target.  The shirt was $10 and the shorts were $13, which might be a little pricey for just pjs, but I know I can wear the shirt during the day too.  My friend Nate says that I can wear the shorts in the summer too, so I guess this whole outfit is multi-purpose!  The shirt is just a plain mint racerback tank, very lightweight, and the shorts are a light grey with little white flowers on.

Sorry that this is a little blurry!
My final clothing purchase was this amazing shirt from Bluenotes.  I saw this last weekend when I was shopping, and decided I would come back later to buy it.  I thought about it all week and, as you can tell, I did go get it.  It's a guy's shirt, but because it's a baseball tee style it doeszn't matter.  It is so soft, and so comfy, and it was only $10.  My friend Laura said when I bought it that it is very 'me' which is so true, this is exactly my style!

That's all for my new clothing purchases, come back tomorrow for Part 2: Accessories!

Before I go I do want to tell you all that I now have a Facebook page for my blog, it would mean so much to me if you went and hit like! Click the link here :)

There we go! I know that wasn't much but I though a haul post was long overdue! Have a great day everyone! <3

Warm Fuzzies #4

Hey everyone!

It's time for Part 4 of my Warm Fuzzies series, and this one's soppy, I'm warning you!

Something that always, without fail makes me happy is....

These weirdos <3

I love my friends so much, I don't know what I would do without them.  From Laura singing and making everyone's day a little brighter, to Rachel's cookies, or Brit's constant hilarity.  From Emma being a text away, or Sam lending me her thigh to cry on (true story).  Every single person in this picture can make me happy when I'm down and I'm so glad I have them all <3 I'm just annoyed that I don't have more pictures, because a lot of people are missing from this!

That's all for now.  I freakin' love my friends, you have no idea <3 There was no way I couldn't talk about them!  If you like my blog and want to see more, like my page on Facebook here!

Until next time, xoxo Laura

Product Empties!

Hello everyone!

Since starting my Bought It, Forgot It series, I have felt inspired to use up SO many of my products I have lying around! This is a great thing, since I rarely use up products, just buy more (it's a problem, I know).  Since I have been using things up, I thought I would do a little Empties post with mini reviews for you guys! Hope you enjoy!

Face and Body

First up is this Green Beaver Facial Exfoliant with bamboo micro-fibres, grapefruit and aloe.  This is actually my second tube of this, I've used it for quite a long time and really do like it.  It's certified organic and made in Canada, which are both bonuses for me.  The only thing I don't like is that it retails for $17 for a tube containing only 60 mL of product.  The product itself is nice and creamy, not too thick, and has teeny tiny particles to exfoliate your skin.  I don't like this if my skin is super dry and flaky, then I find the particles too small to be very effective.  That being said, I will probably repurchase this at some point in the future, just not right away.  I do recommend this, especially for those of you who have sensitive skin, or skin that doesn't get too dry and just needs a good scrub every once in awhile.  It is specifically designed to exfoliate sensitive or acne-prone skin.  You can buy it here from the Green Beaver website.

Next, I actually used up this little travel sized Amber Blush body wash from Bath & Body Works.  I enjoyed this, but I'm not sure if I would buy this scent again.  It was very strong.  That being said, the formulation is great, it lathers really well, and it definitely gets me clean.  These are usually on offer, 3 for $12 I think, and I have bought 2 different scents to try, so they're a complete bargain even if you aren't too keen on the scent.  If you do end up liking it, the full size still isn't that expensive, only about $12.50, and they're constantly on sale (they just had a buy 3 get 2 free sale not that long ago.)

Also for body, I finished up this Dove deodorant in the cucumber and green tea scent.  I honestly just buy whatever doedorant is on sale, so I'll buy this again but when it's at its cheapest.  The scent is great, the power is amazing, but one pet peeve I have is that this formula ALWAYS seems to smash! Don't travel with it, you'll regret it.  That actually happened to this one, it broke, I didn't actually use it all up (although I was super close, so it still counts!)

My final face and body product is my Prairie Naturals Northern Lights shampoo and conditioner (I threw out the one bottle before I did this post, so no picture!)  I love this brand, I've been using it non-stop for over a year, maybe even two (I'm bad with time).  I switch up which line I use periodically.  I've used the Northern Lights line which is the moisture fortifying formula, but when my hair isn't really dry or damaged I like to use the Wild Rose formula which is moisture balancing.  Recently I started using the Arctic Sun line which is hypoallergenic, and I think it might be my favourite so far.  Great price, great product, and Canadian made which is a huge bonus for me! Highly recommend.

Cosmetics

First up is this Lancome Hypnose mascara.  Now, I didn't technically use this up, it dried out, but I am still going to count it.  This is the mascara I put in my February Bought It, Forgot It and I did get a few uses out of it before I couldn't use it anymore.  I've raved about the Hypnose line for ages, you all know how great I think it is at this point.  Just go buy it.

Next is the Covergirl Perfect Point Plus eyeliner in black.  I've had this product for ages, probably too long.  I do love it though.  It makes the perfect thin line right up against your lashes, and I highly recommend it, especially if you don't like liquid or gel liners, because this gives the same effect.  This also lasts really long on the waterline which is great!

My final cosmetics empty is my Lancome Bi-Facil eye makeup remover.  I adore this stuff.  It is amazing at getting off your makeup and doesn't leave your eye area too greasy or too dry.  The one thing that does annoy me is that the packaging seems to leak, so I try not to travel with this because it's too expensive to waste!  I do highly recommend this to anyone in need of a good eye makeup remover.

Food

I wanted to include a food empty, just because I really liked it and think it's great.  It's the Belvida breakfast bars.  I personally like the Soft Baked ones, particularly the cranberry orange and the banana oatmeal chocolate chip.  I love these things, they're more filling than a granola bar and perfect for grabbing as I roll out of bed on my way to class.  They're also healthy, not packed with calories and fat and sugars, so I feel good about eating them for breakfast.  If you aren't a morning person, are constantly running late, or just don't normally like a big breakfast (all of which apply to me) I highly recommend you pick these up.  Breakfast is the most important meal of the day after all!

That's all for now, I hope you enjoyed.  If you haven't already, I'd appreciate it so much if you clicked here and liked my blog page on Facebook!  Hope you are all having lovely days!
xoxo Laura

Warm Fuzzies #3

Hey everyone!  I'm finally back with the 3rd installment of my Warm Fuzzies series!

This Warm Fuzzies post is not a YouTube video for once! I'm switching it up and giving you something new, although it's in the same vein.

This installment of Warm Fuzzies is about music.

I love music.  From a young age it has been what I turned to in order to release emotions and stress and feel good when I was feeling down.  I started playing piano at age 6, which turned into a desire to learn to play as many instruments as possible.  I took up recorder, ukulele, and hand bells in elementary school, flute in music class, taught myself trumpet and guitar, and continue to play piano to this day, although I no longer take lessons.

Unfortunately, I can't always play to relieve my stress.  I have three roommates and I an always afraid that if I bring out the guitar it will disturb them.  So I listen to a lot of albums.

Below I will link my favourite albums on iTunes.  I love Mumford & Sons, Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy, All Time Low, The Vaccines, Arctic Monkeys... Basically, I will listen to anything once, and usually end up loving it.  Listening to music provides me with so much. It's motivation when I'm studying, cleaning, or at the gym.  It's relaxation before I go to bed.  And it's accompaniment everywhere I go. I had a dozen albums in my truck for when I drove, and I never go anywhere without something playing.  I hate the silence, and why tolerate that when I could have Darren Criss crooning through my speakers?

Anyway, moral of this is that music makes me happy.  It makes a lot of people happy.  I've actually made some amazing friends just by bonding over music.  And if you are having a down day, listening to your favourite artist can make everything feel a little less overwhelming.

1) AM- Arctic Monkeys
2) Sigh No More- Mumford & Sons
3) Babel (Deluxe Edition)- Mumford & Sons
       4) What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?- The Vaccines
1) Infinity on High- Fall Out Boy
2) From Under The Cork Tree- Fall Out Boy
3) Save Rock and Roll- Fall Out Boy
1) A Fever You Can't Sweat Out- Panic! At the Disco
2) Human EP- Darren Criss
3) Love Drunk- Boys Like Girls
4)
Vices & Virtues- Panic! At the Disco

1) Classic Queen- Queen
1) Halcyon Days (Deluxe Edition)- Ellie Goulding
2) Bad Blood- Bastille
3) Midnight Memories- One Direction

Until next time, xoxo Laura

February B.I.F.I. Products Review and New Products for March!

This month my Bought It, Forgot It products were a little disappointing.  I'll just jump right in with what I thought of them.

1) Physician's Formula Pressed Powder

First up is the Physician's Formula powder.  I do really like this.  I did a lot of going back and forth from school to home, and I went to Ottawa for Reading Week, so this didn't get used up simply because it wasn't very travel-worthy.  The product itself is great though, and I like that it can be used on its own on days when you don't need the coverage of foundation.  However, for the $20 price tag, I have other powders I like better for wearing over foundation to mattify it.

2) Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush

This blush is never going to get used.  I can't stand it.  I don't like to bash products, and I'm sure some people love it, but I will never buy another one.  I don't like the formulation at all, I find it impossible to blend with very little pigmentation, and it dries chalky.  This product is not for me, and as a result was barely used this month and will probably dry up before it is used up.

3) Lancome Hypnose Mascara

I actually did use this product and loved it.  I love the Hypnose mascaras anyways!  This actually dried up about halfway through the month, but that's alright, it was getting a little old anyways.  Adored it.  Always have always will.  I really recommend this product!

4) Hard Candy Green With Envy Palette

This product isn't the worst thing I've ever used, but I can't say I'm a huge fan.  The pigmentation is good in some of the colours, not so much in others.  The same goes for blending, some blend really well and others don't.  I did find that these made my eyes hurt which is probably a bad thing.  I did like this better in combination with other shadows, for example, blended into the crease with a base of MAC All That Glitters.  These are a little chalky, so I would recommend doing your eyes before your face makeup because there is a lot of fall down and always using an eye primer.  That being said, the whole palette was really cheap and for the price it is about what can be expected (I know it was under $10, possibly closer to $5...)

New Products For March
I'm going to stick to 4 products again this month, I feel like it's a great number of products to consistently use, not too few and not too many.

I have 2 products from the Joe Fresh makeup line this month.  The first is this eye shadow quad in Modern Smoky Eye.  I bought this near the end of the summer and it's barely been touched.  The colours are really nice and the photo is actually very true to colour, so hopefully I get some more use out of this in March.

The second product is the Sheer Lip Crayon in Berry.  I have 2 of these, I used to be completely obsessed and them as I got more into makeup I started to pass it up for other products and accidentally forgot about it!  This is actually a really good colour for everyday, so I'm going to put it to good use!

My third product for March is the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in 30 Pomegranate Punk.  I bought this because Chelsey blogged about it and I thought the colour was really pretty, but it's gone almost untouched.

My fourth and final product is another one that I have doubles of.  It's the GOSH eyeliner in Golden Moss and I, again, used to be obsessed with this until I started to discover other products and it fell by the wayside.  I used this a couple times at the very end of February and decided I needed to let it come back into my makeup routine, so that's what I'm going to aim to do!

That's all for now, come back in a few days for a haul post and maybe even a few others!  If you liked this post or my blog in general, please go like my Facebook page over here.  It would mean the world to me!
